The Buyer is responsible to procure the materials he/she is responsible for, at the agreed price, supplier and quality to cover the requirements generated by sales orders, production orders or indirect purchasing requests. While performing these procurement activities, he/she needs to drive for optimal inventory levels and ensure OTD performance of suppliers at the same time.

• Review and analyze MRP (material requirement plan) on a daily basis to pick-up new purchase requisitions or changed requirements on existing purchase orders
• Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders after reviewing proposed delivery date and quantity
• Communicate new and changed Purchase Orders, Blanket orders or Release contracts to suppliers
• Manage and control inventory for direct raw materials, consumables & hardware. This includes monthly inventory reconciliation process with offsite (supplier) inventory
• Manage day to day supplier price & lead time negotiations
• Enter and maintain supplier and material master data in SAP (ECN/ANAND workflow)
• Execute & manage POs for services, expenses & CAPEX items
• Initiate & drive process improvements using DBS (Danaher Business System) and DMS (Danaher Materials System) tools.
• Perform supplier visits/supply chain audits
• Participate in daily management meetings (SQDIPS)
• Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) meetings to resolve quality blocked materials. Manage RTV transactions and communications.

• You have a masters degree + demonstrable several years of experience in a similar position
• You have knowledge of SAP
• You are fluent in Dutch and English
• You actively participate in fostering a good team spirit
• You demonstrate autonomy, personal involvement, and flexibility
• You possess a good learning capacity
• You contribute to continuous improvement and demonstrate a questioning attitude
• You are organized and meticulous in the administrative management of your files
